ONLINE DATABASES
Subscription databases are preferred resources for "surfing" the Internet. Better than mega-search engines that return millions of web site suggestions --many of them worthless to the researcher, subcription databases provide organized and authoritative information that can save time, frustration and assure that the information retrieved is legitimate and appropriate.
The 
symbol indicates which databases are provided free of charge through the Electronic Library for Minnesota (ELM), which is supported by appropriations from the Minnesota Legislature.
