Who: 9th – 11th Graders at SAINt bernard’s. We will be joined by about 100 other teens from the area.
DATES: June 22-28, 2008
WHERE: We will be staying at SAINt bernard’s parish and school in St. Paul and working with the people of St. bernard’s and of Ascension in North Minneapolis
What will I be doing?
You will begin the day with breakfast at 8:00 a.m. Work crews usually leave for their worksites by 9:30 a.m. and return by 3:30 p.m. Each day you will spend time working at your assigned site. You'll be involved in one or more of the following work projects:
ü Painting
ü Yard work
ü Indoor/outdoor clean up
ü New home construction
ü Home maintenance and repair on existing homes
The evenings will be spent in a lively program and in free time getting to know other students from your school and the area. Each program is a unique experience and it is a lot of fun.
Where do I sign up?
If you are interested in this amazing experience, just fill out THe permission slip (more forms may come later) along with your check for $180 (made out to SAINt Bernard’s) by May 5th. The cost covers all meals during the week, transportation to and from worksites, and program materials.
