Public Achievement
Our Catholic faith challenges us to live out our Christian values in the world. However, in order
to do so, we must not only understand these values, but also know how to act effectively in the everyday world.
Public Achievement teaches students the value of effecting positive change in society. Through a special experiential learning strategy designed for providing leadership and problem solving opportunities, the initiative assists groups of students to identify real concerns that they have and how to act together to address them.
As our students learn Christian values and the skills of effective action and citizenship, they will learn how to live out their faith in the world, working on issues of justice and charity.
Public Achievement had its beginnings at Saint Bernard’s nearly 20 years ago and has grown to include sites across the United States and around the world.
