Minutes from the April Bulldog Parent Meeting
- Assembly with the swing dance demonstration seemed to go over well with the students. Discussed student courtesy issues.
- FDMS dance preparations are going well. Calls have been made. More volunteers will be recruited for areas in need of extra help.
- Bulldog Blast. Students preferred the bowling alley. Discussion as to what location for the next one.
- Andrea Shelton will discuss with Mrs. Cassidy about the cost of the lanes.
- If we use the lanes, where would we cook the pizzas? Would there be access to the Parrish center or would the pizza cookers in the bowling lanes and concession stand in the gym be available for use?
- Colleen Ohmann will take care of the posters and signs for school for the next blast.
- Discussed ideas for next year Blast events perhaps some could have “themes” i.e. birthday party games, seasonal/holiday.
- Booster Club curious as to what the Parent Club is about. Are we overlapping? Caryn Benish will speak at the next Booster Club meeting and pass along information.
- Proposed to meet in August to map out dates for Blast events for the 2008/2009 school year. Get the events scheduled on the school calendar.
- Next Blast to be May 4th unless need to change because of play practice.
- Mrs. Jackson presented the Bulldog Parent Club Charter with a few minor adjustments from the original version. Andrea Shelton made a motion to accept the charter. Colleen Ohmann seconded the motion. Motion passed.
