As the High School Associate Principal I am committed to ensuring that each and every student experiences an enriching and fulfilling education during their time spent here at Saint Bernard’s. Because so much time is spent in high school, these years are instrumental to the development of one’s character and as such, we fully recognize the school’s pivotal role in helping to form our students into the upstanding adults they will soon become. A long-standing school motto strives to mold our young men and women into becoming “Saints, Scholars, Ladies, and Gentleman.” While this may seem a lofty vision, we confidently pursue this excellence in all that we do.
Who better to emulate in building our students’ moral character than the Saints whose lives brilliantly illustrate the qualities we aim to instill in our staff and students – qualities that include: wisdom, understanding, knowledge, prudence, fortitude, and reverence. As a Catholic School we are privileged and eager to go beyond the scope of academia, to tend to the spiritual needs of our school family.
As Scholars, our students’ academic success is a top priority. We continually assess our courses, their rigor, and their relevance to college preparation as well as work-force readiness. We recognize the necessity of providing challenging, engaging and relevant curriculum designed to meet the scholastic needs of all of our students.

As a small school, our staff takes the time to utilize a myriad of situations, large and small to build upon the work begun by parents to ensure our students always behave as ladies and gentleman. Ultimately, we desire our students to respect the dignity of the human person and with God’s grace, to grow in virtue.
