Buenos días, buenas tardes o buenas noches y bienvenidos al departamento de español.

 ¡Welcome back!

SPANISH I

An introduction to the Spanish language and culture utilizing a multimedia approach. The course emphasizes the four language skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing. Stress is placed on the comprehension and reproduction of basic language patterns dealing with everyday situations. Language study is integrated with cultural patterns related to Spanish speaking countries.

Grades 9, 10, 11, 12                     3 Trimesters

Workbook page 6: Due October 10

SPANISH II

A continuation of Spanish I with further development of language patterns and structures in the four basic language skills. Students will truly begin to see patterns and make connections, instead of just reproducing the language. They will be able to formulate and answer simple questions, and use the language more spontaneously.
