| | Good day. As chairperson of the Social Studies Department, I teach Advanced Placement American History, Western Civilization, and Geography. These classes are primarily made up of Sophomores and Juniors. I also teach Economics, Civics, Sociology and Criminal Justice to juniors and seniors as one trimester-long electives. I am very excited about our Social Studies program here at Saint Bernard's.
I completed my undergraduate degree in 1990 with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from Valparaiso University. I also minored in Geography and Theology. I received my Juris Doctor from William Mitchell College of Law in 1994 and my Master of Arts degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of St. Thomas in 1998.
If you would like more information about these classes or this department, please contact me by phone at 651-489-1338 or by email at rcarpentier@saintbernards-school.org I am also entering my sixth year as the Saint Bernard's Boys Varsity Soccer coach. Thank you for visiting my web page.
