Mathematics

All students are required to take three years of mathematics. Placement in 9th grade classes is based on entrance examination scores and junior high grades, and in grades 10, 11 and 12, placement is based on teacher recommendation. Calculators are required in all mathematics courses.

Science

All students are required to take three years of science. The experimental method is used in all science courses to lead students to ask, discover, predict, evaluate, and draw their own conclusions.
