Introduction:

Students, we have been studying the basics of business. We have looked at the types of economies. Now its time to look at the GDPs of the US and other nations.

Create a chart using Microsoft Excel. Label the columns with the following titles: Country, GDP, Population, and GDP per Capita. Using the Website provided, choose 5 countries and the US. Find and record the GDPs and Populations using the appropriate tables. Choose a country from Central or South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. For the last column (GDP per Capita), divide the GDP by the Population of each country. Create a formula to fill in the "GDP per Capita" column. Ex. =(B2/C2) or 10,416,818/288,369
