Campus Ministry

Campus Ministry is an opportunity for students to become more involved in their school’s ministries all while enriching their faith.  Much of what campus ministry involves is the planning of student liturgies.  Students attend mass at least once a week.  This gives them the opportunity to become involved in the mass by being a Eucharistic Minister, a Lector, a Sacristan, Gift Bearer, Altar Server and more.  Students will be trained in each of these ministries and their involvement is much appreciated.  Below is a link to see the School Mass schedule for the year.

Within the realm of Campus Ministry, each class has an annual retreat where they leave campus to have the opportunity to grow closer to their classmates as well as grow in their faith life.  There is a specific theme picked for each class.  The senior retreat is especially unique because they have the fortune of staying overnight.  This provides a special conclusion to their retreats at St. Bernard’s after having spent four years with their classmates.  This year, retreats were held at Villa Maria Retreat Center, Dunrovin Retreat Center, the NET Center, and St. Peter’s in Mendota.  If you are familiar with these locations, each site provides a comforting, relaxing and faith-filled environment.
