Minutes from the December PAC meeting
- Attendance tripled from November meeting.
- Need a new name for the group. Several ideas discussed. Majority approved renaming the group “Bulldog Parents Club”.
- Andrea Shelton volunteered to “selectively” assist Kathy Jackson with leadership of the club.
- Jeanne Genovese volunteered to take notes.
- Need to get new name and purpose out to prospective/current families.
- Put a blurb in the “LifeLine”.
- Call all current families and tell them about the January meeting.
- Mail post cards to all current families about the January meeting.
- Discussion regarding class parents for each high school grade level. One or two parents to be a reference point for parent questions. Listed in the school directory at the beginning of the school year.
- Invite parents of senior students to the meetings. Request them to offer wisdom and/or advice.
- Kathy Jackson indicated she would look into postcards/publicity/buttons for members of the Bulldog Parents Club. T-shirts were discussed and thought to be a good idea also.
