"BULLDOG BEST" is a commitment to Christian Values, to excellence, and to expectations. It is our goal to recognize achievement, academic improvement and to foster self-esteem. Ultimately, we hope to instill an attitude in our students that it is acceptable, and in fact, desirable to do their BEST:
B eing the best I can possibly be,
E xcelling in all that I do,
S haring my time and talent, and
T reating myself and others with respect as Jesus would.
Gold Card - To be awarded the Gold Card, the student must demonstrate commitment to the ideals of "Bulldog Best" concerning sharing his/her time and talents and treating others with respect by service to others or community involvement. The student must also achieve ALL of the following during the trimester:
- A - average or above for the trimester (3.7 GPA)
- Two or fewer days of absence for the trimester (not including school-sponsored activities or medically verified absence.)
- Two or fewer tardies to school and,
- No disciplinary referrals, detentions, or suspensions.
Blue Card - To be awarded the Blue Card, the student must demonstrate commitment to the ideals of "Bulldog Best" concerning sharing his/her time and talents and treating others with respect by service to others or community involvement. The sutdent must also achieve at least ONE of the following during the trimester:
- B - average or above for the trimester, (3.0 GPA.)
- A .5 GPA improvement from the previous trimester.
- No tardies and perfect attendance for the trimester (not including school-sponsored activities or medically verified absence) OR
In addition, the following criteria MUST be achieved:
- One or fewer detentions or disciplinary referrals.
- No "F" or "I's" on the trimester grade report.
- No suspensions.
