This department is committed to providing the student with the opportunity to learn and utilize practical life skills, a commitment which emanates from the belief that knowledge of such skills will enhance the student's life both inside and outside of school.  The goal of Applied Arts and Sciences is that of creating a variety of learning environments where students actively practice using skills learned in several specific curriculum areas.  The development of these skills will help the student to grow academically, mentally, physically, and spiritually.
