Dear Fourth Grade Families,

I want to take a moment to thank you for a wonderful school year! The children have worked incredibly hard and they have accomplished so much. I am so pleased with their personal and academic growth. It has been a fun filled, memorable journey! This is a unique group filled with curiosity, creativity, compassion and a true joy for learning. I feel blessed to have been their teacher this year. Although it is hard to send them on to fifth grade I do so knowing that they are ready to rise to the challenges! I am so proud of each one of them and I know they will be successful in the future.

Thank you for your continuous support and involvement with your child’s fourth grade experience. I enjoyed working with you this year!

I wish you all a fun, safe and relaxing summer!

See you in the fall! Stop in to visit anytime! J

Take Care,                                                                                                                                                   Ms. Larson

*Time yourself to complete all facts 0-11 in 5 min, 4min, etc. and correct with a buddy or parent to go over mistakes and identify growth.

· Use Stop and Check bookmarks to guide comprehension while reading.

· This year’s Handwriting and Math Workbooks have several pages for kids to work on!

· You should have spelling lists from this year glued in your assignment notebook. I know that you know NUMEROUS ways to study spelling and I also have games under the Spelling link on our classroom webpage.

· Mrs. Jameson has some fun, interactive learning sites listed under fourth grade on her library webpage under online resources.
