Our last PYP Unit of the year was called May The Force Be With You! The fourth graders learned all about force, electricity, energy, natural disasters, and weather over the course of eight weeks. We conducted many experiments and explored how forces of nature change lives. We interviewed people, visited the Science Museum and STARBASE Minnesota, researched, presented, and did so much more! Our final project was a videotaped newscast. The students used their knowledge to write and report stories related to forces of nature. They even wrote their own commercials about Forces of Nature. What an outstanding job!!!
