In this course, special attention is placed on the structure and methods of algebra. Problem solving is a focus. Topics covered include solving equations and inequalities, factoring, rational expressions, linear systems, functions, irrational numbers, and quadratics. (A TI 83+ or TI 84+ calculator is required.)
