Saint Bernards's Parish Partnership with Saint Hubert's

The partnership between Saint Bernard’s and Saint Hubert’s parishes began out of necessity: Families at Saint Bernard’s needed help covering the cost of tuition and the families of Saint Hubert’s parish needed a practical way to express the Biblical principle of caring for those in need. Today, the partnership between the parishes continues out of love.

“Our partnership with Saint Bernard’s started as one Catholic school helping another,” says Father Steve Ulrick, former pastor of Saint Hubert’s. “The greatest benefit for our families is that the partnership helps to give us the bigger picture of what it means to be Catholic; to express our love and compassion for those in impoverished foreign countries as well as those in need just across town,” he said.

According to Father Ulrick, whether you live in Saint Paul’s North End or the burgeoning suburb of Chanhassen, we are all God’s children and all part of the same Body of Christ. And Father Ulrick believes that both participating parishes benefit from the arrangement in equal yet distinct ways.

Parishioners from Saint Hubert’s have embraced the mission of Saint Bernard’s and given of their time, talent and treasure.
